Hallo Ferdi,es tut mir leid, aber Dein Vortrag ist noch sehr "denglisch" und der Inhalt wird Deine Englischlehrerin sehr langweilen. Die Korrektheit der Angaben kann sie nicht beurteilen, doch ich denke sie legt Wert auf gute englische Darstellung. Du kannst nicht einfach die deutschen Redewendungen eins zu eins ins Englische übersetzen; z.B. besser wäre ...was one of Donald Healeys favourite cars, ...on the roads (but "in the streets"), overall statt in all; im Englischen wird eine Sache zu der Du keine persönliche Beziehung hast normalerweise mit "it" und nicht mit "he" angesprochen.Nimm doch den Text aus einer englischen Werbebroschüre zum 100-six für Deinen Vortrag. Schau Dir mal diese Internetseiten an: http://www.healeysix.net/, http://www.acmefluid.com.au/larry/ Sie helfen Dir bestimmt weiter. Wenn ich Zeit dazu finde, könnte ich Dir einen Scan machen und zumailen.Sorry, vielleicht bin ich auch schon etwas "Betriebsblind", da ich täglich im Beruf englisch kommunizieren muß.GrußJosef

Ja..., viel besser!Hier nochmal eine auf die schnelle (!) ohne Gewähr auf Schreibfehler korrigierte Fassung:-------------Today i would like to tell you about my theme: The Austin Healey 100-six BN4This Austin Healey was produced in the years from 1956 until 1959 in Longbridge near Birmingham and constructed in Warwick in the Austin Healey research center.In all, 249 cars were built.The 100-six BN4 was one of the favourite cars from Donald Healey, the owner of Austin Healey. Running the quarter mile in 18.8 sec., the car accelerates in 12.9 sec. from 0 to 100 km/h. The top speed was 172 km/h. - today nothing special, but in 1956 the car was one of the fastest and sportiest cars on the streets.The engine had 117 hoursepower and 2638 cubic centimeters and the layout of the 100-six was a front engine and rear wheel drive.His body made car-enthusiasts crazy.He was made out of unit-steel and fiberglass panels.The 100-six BN4 was the successor of the 100-4.I special love the optical differences to the 100-4 - the new radiator grille. He also got a 6 cyl-engine and two occasional seats - for the children.The nickname of this car was: “The Pig”.He was hard, strong, wild and the people said, he handled like a pig.His little brother was the Sprite MK1.Today, the 100-six BN4 is a very famous car on the carshows and in the historical motorsport.A good car costs about 40.000 € to 60.000 €.Austin Healey no longer exists as a seperate marque.The last car from Austin healey was the 3000 MK III BJ8.I love these historical cars.Thanks for listening.---------------Gruß und viel Erfolg,Steffen
